I had an epiphany about Mary one day, and I heard it echoed in Father James Smith’s reflection in light of Faith, “Mary was a disciple of Jesus before Jesus was even, in a sense, in the world…Mary conceived Jesus in Faith before she conceived Jesus in her body.” I had to write that down. It’s a different way of thinking about Faith.
