I may have made a 1040 on my SAT but I am reading The Science of the Cross with connectedness Galatians 4:4-5   I am #feelingintelligent My highlighting is getting heavy.

One thing I like to do on the weekend is get coffee with Matt since I make our own coffee during the weekdays.  I found one place in a business park, and Matt and I play a game because their recipes are mindfully crafted.  He picks my drink and I have to guess what the recipe might be.  I wait in the car.  The first time he surprised me with something like a Toasted Smore.  I remember the name of his better - Raspberry New York Cheesecake - because I liked his drink selection more.  The flavor was superb, and it is my favorite recipe so far.  The next time he surprised me, his was Candy Cane. I guessed mine ever so correctly - Gingerbread but it was really Gingerbread Man.  He was surprised.  I was, too, because I knew it was Holiday but the gingerbread was nicely subtle.

I liked to make mint chocolate chip ice cream with Dreyer’s Slow Churn vanilla ice cream, chopped chocolate, and a few drops of doTerra peppermint essential oil - it is crisper than peppermint extract.

I like to make mouthwash with my peppermint oil, too.  https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3894100/

Sadly, Dreyer’s Slow Churn is no longer available so I haven’t made it since 2019.  I thought about my semi-homeade mint chocolate chip ice cream today, and I decided I will make peppermint pie for Christmas.

(Dec 13, 2022 I asked Matt this morning what he made of his SAT.  1060.  I laughed because I remembered this knowing Matt is hard to beat, though I never try.  He just naturally is.  He was encouraged to make 1100 to get picked up for collegiate football.  He retook it and made a lower score.  He still got picked up to play college football.  I didn’t know that part of the story, and I liked it.  I have never seen him play football except Madden on PlayStation, but I just knew he was someone you want to put on your team.  Matt is always better off paper.)

Thank you Matt for taking my picture.  There’s looking at you! I thought some things driving to the grocery store behind a truck and trailer.  First, Yes; that must be some good help in that cab.  Second, that's some well used scaffolding #mindofateacher Third, gratitude for the life of Jesus Christ and Him wanting to share it with me in Him  https ://youtube.com/clip/UgkxzXJyENvvL2pYAws7N3iWv_0Ebl5MCi--?si=mQefTiag4raNoHqP Third, Fourth,  (7/28/24 Thank you Lord God for Your gifts of prayer and promise and wonder of the extraordinary in the ordinary. 🐕‍🦺I am ending my final entry with the beginning of a 54 day Novena for two people I’ve never met, but by powerful mystery beyond my understanding, I feel strangely connected by prayer to pray for. For Elliot and Grace and in Thanksgiving for all holy friendship.  My favorite meditation so far…  I’ll begin the first nine days with a Friendship Novena, too, and try those 54 rosaries for the first time on...

Walk. Wag. Repeat.

Fit check!  My Nitto Nomad Grapplers arrived!  I waited years for these tires to arrive on the market to fit my vision and another year to fit the budget.  I am still creating my very own bumper sticker 🎣 and my vision will be complete.  My bumper sticker inspiration courtesy of “Beau”: I never stuck it on my dogwalking vehicles, though.   Thank you, Guardian Angel, for turning the wheel just right. I wanted to keep Beau’s gift of encouragement to me in a bumper sticker in keepsake condition.  Once upon a time…  But I would walk “500” miles  And I would walk “500” more  Just to be the girl who walked “1000” miles To up- lift her car. Thanks Chris for making my Barbie Jeep dreams come true.  #yourdreamsdontworkunlessyoudo they say. I met Hebrews 1:3 today.  I have a feeling that Scripture is going to be my favorite way He is told.   My favorite way Mary is told is “the greatest enemy of Satan”; I don’t think those exact words are in Scripture but her receptivity is definitely that vibe.    https://www.ewtn.com/catholicism/library/marys-enmity-towards-satan-was-absolute-8038    “On this planet we have a saying, the enemy of my enemy is my friend.” -Transformers: Age of Extinction  Mary is the enemy of the enemy; therefore; Mary is my friend.   I thought about how quiet Mary is.  I have seen some images of her crushing the serpent under the weight of her heel while holding Jesus as a baby.  I think that’s my favorite depiction of The Mother of God- Mary defeats evil holding infant hope.  That is mysterious power.  I can sink my teeth into that kind of mystery, and I will want to.   https://nds.edu/blog-entry/mother-mary-warrior-queen/ I only remember ...
